Poem-In The Beginning GOD

In the Beginning

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” — Genesis 1:1 (KJV)

In the silence, void, and night,
God spoke forth, “Let there be light.”
From nothingness, the heavens came,
The earth was born to praise His name.

The seas were set, the skies were spread,
By living Word, the world was fed.
The sun to rule the golden day,
The moon to guide the stars’ array.

The fish to swim, the birds to soar,
The beasts to roam on land and shore.
Each one designed by God’s own hand,
Placed with purpose across the land.

Then man was formed, both heart and face,
To bear His image, filled with grace.
A breath of life, a gift so true,
Created for His work to do.

And when the labour all was done,
He rested with the setting sun.
A holy rhythm, peace and rest,
Creation crowned, complete, and blessed.

So lift your voice, O earth, and sing,
To God, the Maker, Lord, and King.
For all began by His command—
The heavens, the seas, the sky, the land.
