A Mother’s Love

A mother’s love is gentle, strong,
A steady light the whole night long.
She holds your hand when days are bright,
And kneels to pray through darkest night.

She sees the tears you try to hide,
And draws you close beside her side.
When you have stumbled, lost your way,
Her love still meets you where you stray.

Her hands grow tired, her hair turns grey,
Yet still she finds the words to say:
“Take heart, my child; God sees you too.
I’ll keep on praying over you.”

Through changing years and miles apart,
She carries you within her heart.
And in her prayers, both night and day,
A mother’s love still lights the way.

   GOD IS A GOOD GOD
