A Mother’s Love Lives On.

Though your mother has departed
And your heart is filled with pain,
The love she planted in your life
Will always still remain.

Her gentle voice, her caring smile,
The kindness she displayed,
Are precious gifts within your heart
That time cannot erase.

When tears fall in the silence
And you’re longing for her touch,
Remember all the happy years
And how she loved you much.

Though you cannot see her standing
In the place she stood before,
Her memory walks beside you
And will leave you nevermore.

May God hold you in His comfort
And give strength when hope seems gone;
For death cannot destroy true love—
A mother’s love lives on.
