Poem -Job Chapter 9

A Voice Between Heaven and Earth

Inspired by Job 9 — for GeorgePoem.com

Job sat beneath a weight of grief,
His friends could offer no relief.
They spoke as though his pain must prove
That he had wandered from God’s love.

He knew the Lord who formed the skies,
Who bids the stars and sun arise.
Yet through his tears, Job longed to know
Why sorrow struck him blow by blow.

“How can I plead my case,” he cried,
“When God’s great power is on His side?
If only one could stand between
And hear the grief no eye has seen.”

Though Job could not yet see the way,
He brought his troubled heart to pray.
His honest words rose through the night;
He did not hide his hurt from sight.

And we, who read his ancient plea,
Know Christ has come for you and me.
Our Mediator hears our cry
And brings us to the God on high.

So when your heart is worn with care,
Come as you are to Him in prayer.
You need not have each answer clear:
Through Jesus Christ, our God draws near.

GOD IS A GOOD GOD

GOD KNOWS, GOD LOVES, GOD CARES
